    Review for Demon's Kiss
    Author: Eve Silver

Reviewer Comments: Clea Masters is about to be exposed to a darkness she never acknowledged exists. She is about to meet sorcerers and demons while learning about the light that protects her. She is going to meet the other part of her soul and the complement of her light all in one night.

Ciarran D’Arbois is about to revisit a child he saved twenty years ago. She has just lost her last living relative and has come to the attention of a high level demon and the hybrids that serve him.

Ciarran refuses to lose her to the darkness, but in order to protect her he must learn to accept a darkness that threatens to consume his soul.

Demon’s Kiss is Eve Silver’s newest book and the first of a new series. It takes the old, tried and true good versus evil and creates a new mythology for it.

The book does a great job showing how the lines of good and evil blur. She points out that often the lines blur without people even noticing.

Ciarran is a tortured hero attempting to control a dark taint that slides through his body. He is so determined to fight the darkness within that he doesn’t accept the idea of gray, the possibility of accepting something different and unheard of.

Clea is a great, well rounded character. She is stoic, yet capable of great emotion. She is not TSTL, as she points out in the book, yet she is human and capable of human miscalculations. Her personal growth is not near as much as Ciarran, but the growth of the two’s relationship is tremendous.

This is another winner penned by Ms. Silver. I think that she is going to be a force to reckon with in the future and look forward to reading her books as she heads up the best seller chart.
